“SLAMMED WITH WORK!”
This commonly used phrase in the workplace has very different meanings for every person. If you work in a corporate 9-5 type job then you probably hate having work to do. You might show up everyday and start counting down the clock until you can leave. You have to do the work b/c you are part of a bigger system that relies on you to keep the chain moving. If you don’t keep the chain moving along, then you fear losing your job. At the end of the day, what do you have to show for your work? What are you working towards – a promotion, a raise? What is the end game?
Personally, I love being able to say that I am “slammed with work”. It means that I am busy creating things and helping people and the more I create and the more I help people out then the more satisfaction and more $ I make at the end of the day.
What are you creating? What are you contributing? Don’t you wish you were doing something you loved every single day? Go chase that.
